  2.  T I M E  COMMAND

  5.  Purpose: Use to enter or change the time known to DOS.  The time is recorded 
  6.           in the directory when you create or change a file and is recognized 
  7.           by most software programs.                                          
  8.                                                                               
  9.  Format:  TIME                                                                
  10.                                                                               
  11.  Remarks: After entering the TIME command at the DOS prompt, the following    
  12.           appears:  Current time is 10:45:30                                  
  13.                     Enter new time: _                                         
  14.                                                                               
  15.           At this point you may either enter a new time or press the <return> 
  16.           key to cancel the command.  Enter the new time in a military time   
  17.           format.
